A golden brown man, with a heart full of gold

Who’s loved me since I was 0 days old

The coolest dude I have ever known

Who’s always there even on the phone

Lots of kids but takes care of them all

Because he’s a real man, just imperfect like us all

To the world he is Mush but to me he is uncle

The incredible brother of my loving mother

Who took care of me when I could not fin for myself

Who I will always be there for in his time of help

He is my best friend Roy Walton is his name

Love and passion is the name of his game

PS: If you have someone as special as my uncle in your life, you need to show them your utmost gratitude.

21st Century Voting Rights Act??

Could you imagine after sixty years, changing something that effected the lives of many Americans across the country? According to the Washington Post, the Supreme Court has requested that the Legislative and Executive branches of government fester up a guarantee of racial equality, in relations to the landmark 1965 Voting Rights Act. The Supreme Court feels like the provisions that are in place now, do not meet the needs of the American people in today’s world. My question is why now does the Supreme Court feel it necessary to change the provisions after so long. If changing the provisions will in fact improve the lives of the American citizen I beleive that it is imparative to update the Voting Rights Act. After all every American citizen is looked at as being equal to one another, and we deserve nothing less than to be treated equally. Government officials need to consider what is best for the people as a whole.
